We had a wonderful experience working with Lisa for our beautiful cake. We originally were going to get married in Destin but due to covid we ended up changing our wedding and had our first anniversary trip there. We met with Lisa in person to discuss the cake options and try flavors. She was a joy to work with and so down to earth. We finalized planning by phone and text which was just as easy. Our cake turned out phenomenal! We ordered a two tiered cake with almond flavor and white chocolate seashells. We received Cakemasters as a recommendation from family around the area and would highly recommend! She made the entire experience easy from start to finish!
The woman who owns and runs this bakery was such a sweet soul. She was pleasant and bubbly. We talked about Noah’s ark. I was in the area from Pittsburgh and needed a cake last minute and she did not disappoint. The cake was delicious. I also grabbed a cinnamon roll which were half price because she had sold out from the days batch and put out the ones from the day before. That cinnamon roll was amazing. So I can only imagine what the days batch would have been like! Try her out. Such a cute local spot. Always good to go local!
Have gone now 2 years in a row for my daughter’s birthday and the cake is always amazing and the lady that works there is a wonderful person you could get lost talking to her she has great personality and really can tell she loves what she’s dose wish I could give more than 5 stars
I got here about 10 minutes or more after closing. New to the area I decided to peer through the window anyway. The proprietor who was in her car ready to leave after an early morning popped her head out and asked " can I help you?" I said I knew the place was closed but was investigating for the next time. She then asked what I was looking for... a bday cake for my son for a little celebration. She the offered to open the store and show me a little pie cake she'd whipped up from left over batter that morning. A test run she said. I bought it! It was delicious and fresh. Chocolate cake, chocolate pudding and whipped cream ice cream. Perfect for what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at her willingness to go out of her way to help me.
I am from out of state and wanted a cake for my husband while he celebrated his birthday in Florida. I saw the reviews of Cakemasters and thought it would be a great place from which to order one, a German Chocolate one, specifically.
Not being super knowledgeable about the area's geography, I found out on the pickup day that the bakery was almost an hour and a half from where we were staying with some bad traffic in Destin. I was cursing my gaffe...until I got the cake. It was wonderful! Lisa baked it that morning and it was so delicious, everyone in the family was raving about how it was one of the best tasting cakes they'd ever had.
I did have to add a relative's name to the cake after I picked it up, so please note the picture attached is NOT how she gave it to us. I'd highly recommend Cakemaster's for reasonably priced, delicious cakes!
